Operational Excellence Projects (Vertical or Matrix Focus): As well as our Lean Process Improvement Projects, in our Operational Excellence Projects we are focusing on improving an operational management system as a whole rather than tackling individual business processes. These environments are often manufacturing plants, individual production lines, departments like maintenance or logistics, call centers, hospitals etc. To be able to improve complex work systems like this it is essential to understand the main elements of an operational system and how they should work together. Skills gaps within your management team – on the job training/coaching is preferred. Lean / TPS Management Coaching: During coaching projects our lean experts will support management teams with a combination of on-the-job guidance and classroom training. Important for an effective knowledge transfer is that the management team takes full responsibility for the lean activities so that the lean coach takes only a passive advisory role and changes get implemented by the people who have to work with these changes in the future.
